Chapter 7: Interlude

Birthday time in the Bertino home yet again. This time Astrid and Anthony prepare to become adults.

The birthday girl after her transition.

Family pancake breakfast.

Astrid hanging out in the hot tub.

Alexander working at his science station from work.

Derek and Dagmar taking advantage of the hot tub right outside their bedroom.

Whoohoo!

They still know how to have a good time.

Time for Astrid and Anthony to move out of the family home.

Only there was a weird glitch and when I reloaded the lot they were standing there with cakes in their hands, which was a little freaky.

Lets try this again, Anthony leaves home.

Astrid leaves later that evening.

Derek is now on the swat team at work.

Poor Alexander came home from work one day and had a breakdown on the front lawn. He had made a serious mistake at work and lost a lot of the important research his team was working on. The stress and implications of what happened proved too much and he just lost it.

Dr. Who came down to evaluate him.

Despite things looking bad Dr. Who was able to help Alexander recover. He prescribed some bed rest and medication and when Alexander went back to work he and his co workers were able to recover much of what had been lost.

With his breakdown behind him and his position at work better than ever after much hard work, Alexander invites Ivy over.

He loves her so much and he decides that now is the time to propose something that he's been thinking about for a long time.

Ivy accepts and now begins the crazy process of planning the wedding.

In other matters Derek is still working on his body points to get ahead at work.

Dagmar has achieved the pinnacle of her career, becoming chief of staff at the Pleasantview hospital.

More improvements to the family home. The wedding arch and chairs are set up for the upcoming nuptials.

Another out building is set up to house the various career objects the family is collecting. The storage room contains the baby things, which will be brought out when Ivy and Alexander have their own little ones.

Alexander treats himself to a new, more powerful telescope.

LOL I never thought to save baby stuff, but that's a good idea. Kinda cute seeing their "attic".

I save the baby things in someone's backpack.

I like the idea of storage sheds for skilling items, though

Hmm ... a place for the baby stuff. Hmmmm ... interesting idea. I wonder if stuff loses more than its value though as it ages (like it's comfort). Does anyone know?

Congrats to the happy couple on their upcoming nuptials.

Weird glitch with the kids. I still think it sucks that each kid has to take a separate cab to college. But I guess it's okay if you plan to put them in separate dorms. Still weird though.
