Chapter 2: The Wedding

Derek and Dagmar exchange their vows, taking Dagmar's last name of Bertino. Derek's best friend Darren Dreamer witnessed the wedding.

Toasting the marriage

Cutting the cake.

Not the most elegant of affairs but it was a happy event.

Some neighbors dropped by to wish the newly weds well.

Toasting the bride.

And it's off to the honeymoon, no need to rush I don't think the limo will leave without you!

The happy couple returns from their honeymoon.

A sweet moment in the middle of the road as Dagmar caresses Derek's cheek.

Time to start that family Derek's been wanting.

Discussing improvements for the house, such as flooring.

The newly redecorated home.

One of Derek's colleagues comes over for dinner.

Derek dreaming of his wife.

Suddenly Dagmar was obsessed with eating pancakes.

Sure enough all the cravings were pointing to one thing, Dagmar was pregnant and aside from the pancake cravings she had a very easy pregnancy.

Derek talking to his baby.

Discussing job advancement for Derek.

Dagmar brings up inappropriate topics with the maid.

Entering the final stages of pregnancy.

More pancakes.

The maid seems puzzled by Dagmar's reference to cheating during a chat after the work in the house had been finished.

The happy couple, loving as ever.

Derek uses those magic fingers to ease the tension.

At first there were two . . .

And Baby makes three.
Introducing the first born of the Bertino legacy, Alexander Bertino.

Nothing wrong with pancakes. I want pancakes. And I agree with Qosmic - starting legacies are great. It's kinda like RPGs when your guy is level 1 :) Can't wait to read more - great family.

Elegant, schmelegant. A happy affair is definitely better! Yay for floors! And carpeting and wallpaper and all kinds of stuff. They're doing quite well already. Hmm, maybe Dagmar was bragging about how good Derek was at woohoo? Still inappropriate, but better than asking the maid for sex! ;-) Welcome baby Alexander! *claps*
